As you are all aware we raise funds for you the members by the way of a fine system on every golf day. The money raised is then used on the Christmas Golf Day at Laleham. In the past we have subsidised the Laleham day by offering free days to members who have attended a certain amount of days during the year and subsidising those that did not qualify for a free day.  We also put up additional voucher prizes over and above the normal sponsored four places, utilizing all of the money raised in that year.

The committee have now decided after careful consideration, that due to the size of the society and the increase in monthly fixtures, we need to amend the criteria for qualifying for a free day at Laleham and release more money to assist throughout the year with prizes and subsidising of certain monthly society days. This we feel will be a fairer way in distributing any money raised and allow us to seek and offer a better/more lucrative venue at a more attractive cost. We would still put up additional prizes on the Laleham day.

We therefore would like to make you all aware of the qualifying criteria for the Laleham day this year and have detailed this below:

CRITERIA FOR QUALIFICATION ON THE LALEHAM DAY..

Attending 7 golf days during the year = Free of charge.

Attending 6 golf days during the year = £10.

Attending 5 golf days during the year = £15.

Attending 4 golf days during the year = £20.

Attending 3 golf days during the year = £30.

Attending 1 or 2 golf days during the year = £35.

Attending 0 golf days during the year = £45.
